Jenschke Orchards - Fredericksburg TX

We had an awesome time at Jenschke Orchards today! Everyone's so nice and helpful! There is so much to do there and it's great for families! Kids will love it here! The strawberries are delicious and sweet, yes you get to pick them! I want to go back for peaches and other tasty treats! They have a country store with fresh vegetables, canned goods, candles, soaps, dry goods, few clothes! And don't forget the ice cream, pies and peach cider! There's a barbecue(Tasty) place and tons of outdoor seating! Wine tastings, delicious fruit wine! I loved the watermelon and strawberry! The outdoor bounce looks so fun! This an awesome summer place! Come join the fun!

A true berry picking experience, complete with tractor ride. We had a blast here! Come early, it gets busy, but it's so much fun! The sweetest berries we've tasted locally! Making our "pick your own" flower bouquet was also fun! Don't skip the peach icecream! Yum!

Drove down from North Austin for a quick day trip to Fredericksburg and Jenschke Orchards was at the top of our to-do list. Husband and I had a blast, even with the off and on showers throughout the morning (just make sure you don't make the same mistake as me and wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy on the off chance it does rain!) The peach ice cream is delicious and we've already decided we'll bring an ice chest next time to bring some home with us! As of 6/4/26, there are TONS of strawberries for picking. We already knew before going, but they aren't currently offering pick your own peaches, as they had a bad growing season this year. However, they do have select amounts in their store for purchase, which are fairly priced and still taste great. We also brought home some preserved peaches, fresh honey, and peach cider, all which are yummy. We cannot wait to visit this farm again later this year for the pumpkin patch and Christmas trees. I hope this family owned farm continues to thrive for many, many years, as it is truly a gem!

This is a must stop every time we're in Fredericksburg. When we have the kids we'll pick fruit, when we don't we buy the ice cream. THE best ice cream I've had! This last time they had watermelon, lavender, and other flavors along with my all time favorite peach. There's always something for everyone at Jenschke Orchards!

My wife and my kids love it here. Strawberries 🍓 are perfect and big,juicy. But blackberries,holy moly it sours 😐. They also have flowers 🌺 for y’all to pick and 🍑,well not in season yet. Prices a reasonable, pay cash 💵 and you’ll get surprise
