We reserved a table for their St. Patty’s day repast. This was our wedding anniversary also! The meal was 3 courses, we had the corned beef egg rolls for a starter, then the Shepherds Pie and Guinness Stew. Then we topped it off with Baileys Cheesecake. OMG!
The atmosphere, service, and food are great. This was my second time here and we ordered the lobster roll, turkey wrap, brisket burger, and chocolate cake. They were all great. The lobster roll was expensive but I wasn’t disappointed. After lunch we walked around with our dog and looked at the nursery. We have a date night booked for later this month. So we are very excited! I definitely recommend this place for a fun get away on the weekends.
What a fantastic place! Although we were here at the end of fall and weren’t looking for plants, we totally enjoyed sitting outside, looking at the Christmas trees and just browsing. The coffee was great and the cake and caramels we bought were delicious! I did lots of Christmas shopping in their gift shop. They had locally made items and unique food and gifts. Don’t miss this little spot. Their other food on the menu and in the case looked delicious too and everyone on staff was super friendly. There’s all kinds of spots to sit outside and there’s kind of a “hidden” room inside near the restrooms for indoor dining.
Five star review: This breakfast was outstanding from start to finish. The French toast was perfectly cooked with a golden exterior and soft center, lightly sweet without being overpowering and clearly made with care. It did not need syrup to be good, but it paired beautifully when added. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and fresh, not dry or overcooked, which is harder to find than it should be. The sausage links were well seasoned with a great snap and rich flavor, and the potato hash was crisp on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned just right. Everything on the plate felt balanced, hot, and thoughtfully prepared. This is the kind of breakfast that reminds you how good simple food can be when it is done right. I would absolutely order this again and recommend it without hesitation.
I visited Lantern Ridge during the final weekend of their Christmas Crafters Market, and it was such a delightful experience. I arrived early, and to my surprise, it wasn’t very crowded, with plenty of parking available—a rare treat during busy holiday events! Since it was my first visit, I took my time exploring the charming mini grocery store inside before heading outdoors. The outdoor area was beautifully festive, featuring a variety of Christmas trees, wreaths, and artisan booths showcasing the work of talented local artists. The hot chocolate booth was a lovely touch, and the option to take photos with Santa added a fun, family-friendly vibe to the market. About an hour into my visit, I decided to grab breakfast at the restaurant. I ordered the Lantern Breakfast Full and was thrilled to see turkey bacon as an option—it’s rare to find, and since I don’t eat chicken or pork, it absolutely made my day. Breakfast was delicious, and the quality of the food exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. Overall, Lantern Ridge is a fantastic spot with something for everyone. The market was well-organized and charming, and the restaurant truly impressed me. This place is now on my list to revisit throughout the seasons—I can’t wait to see what else they offer!
