My girlfriend and I had the best experience picking this morning at Meleddy Cherry Orchard! Absolutely beautiful orchards and the most wonderful cherries. The owner even greeted us! Will always remember and recommend this farm and will return for years to come!
My family and I have picked cherries at this orchard for many years. The cherry trees are loaded with cherries and the orchard provides buckets and ropes for picking. But the best thing about Meleddy is definitely the pitting machine!! This service isn't available at many orchards in the area so that alone makes Meleddy a top choice.
THE best pick your own cherries in the area. They have an industrial pitting machine so you don't have to do any work. We travel from MN every year for cherry season just to come to Meleddy. Sue is amazing! The whole team is wonderful. You absolutely must experience the pick your own cherries at Meleddy. We have been visiting since 2017, and would never consider going anywhere else!
It was easy picking and brautiful Orchard to pick in. It was wonderful to clean cherries before they went in the pitting mschine. Friendly people, owner was pleasant and introduced herself - love to support women in business, made jam, cherry crisp, canned cherries in lite sweet syrup.
