Excellent greenhouse- my favorite in the region. Knowledgeable staff who can provide tips on plant care, make recommendations for plants that will thrive in your climate or problem area, and inspire you with the beautiful plants and flowers in their huge selection. I get my annuals, perennials, bulbs, herbs, shade-lovers, trees, shrubs, succulent's, and houseplants here because they are so much healthier than the ones I pick up at major chains or larger, overwhelming greenhouses in the area. They have a points reward program that gives you discounts based on every dollar spent. Great for those of us who spend a lot! Try them- you won’t be disappointed. But don’t delay- folks who know this place grab up our yearly faves before they’re gone. 5 stars every time.

I called asking for information on Gardenheir Lemon Meyers clogs. The salesperson was amazing answered all my questions. Sent me an invoice and shipped the shoes out immediately the next day. My niece's is going to love this. She has been looking for these shoes for 3 months. It's a limited edition. Sold out every where. Her orginial shoes she bought while studying aboard in Italy. While on Christmas break at friend's house some jerk stole her shoes. She is going to be so ecstatic when I gift these shoes to her. THANK YOU Modern Homestead.

I just LOVE a stop at Modern Homestead! The owners are lovely to meet and so knowledgeable about the plants they offer for sale. The property is always a site for the senses with beautiful and seasonal plants and decor, a cafe', great music and weekend suppers that are relaxing and delicious! A visit at Christmas is a MUST! Thank you for creating such a delightful place to visit!
