I have been going to this farm every year to pick strawberries since I was around 3. When I was younger, I loved playing on the playground with my friends and seeing the animals. I still love picking strawberries in their fields and going for rides on the tractor. I also love the store, which sells delicious honey and canned peaches. The employees are kind and patient to everyone. The space is well taken care of and fun. I would recommend anyone who wants to pick their own food to come to Triple B Farms.
Wonderful Summer Day at Triple B Farms! We had such a great time at Triple B Farms today! We went with our 3-year-old and another couple who brought their younger toddler, and it was a hit with everyone. We came for blueberry and lavender picking and left with full hearts (and full baskets!). The staff were all friendly and helpful, clearly explaining how everything worked and making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The fruit and flower picking was easy and fun. Beyond that, there’s so much for kids to enjoy such as their farm-themed play areas, big tractors to climb on, goats, peacocks, a maze, and other fun surprises throughout the property. Our little ones were completely delighted and could have stayed for hours. The market is lovely too. We went home with some fresh treats and felt great about supporting a local farm while having a full day of wholesome fun. Highly recommend for a summer outing with kids. We’ll definitely be back! It got quite humid during our visit, so we recommend bringing a small portable fan to stay cool in the summer. Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes are a must!
We always come for the pickings through the summer and we did not have one summer that was bad for pickings! We just did the strawberry picking this year! Staff was very friendly. Nice beautiful day. No rush to pick. Love it! The store is cute with many little items from jams, butters, kid’s items, pasta, soups, baked goods… and much more! FYI: baked goods are by far the best in town for farm market.
My wife and I have been visiting Triple B for years, and blueberry picking has been something we look forward to each year. This year however, the gentleman who would normally coach newcomers on how to pick, ripeness, etc. - forced everyone into rows that were picked clean and yelled at anyone that dared pick from the full and ripe bushes just one row away. It'd be one thing to ask families to start from one side and work their way in, but to force everyone to compete over the last few berries in a section was unacceptable. We are not laborers hired to tend each bush to perfection - we are customers who pay quite a lot of money to wander through the berry patch and collect high-quality blueberries. Beyond just yelling at those around us, this associate felt righteous enough to brag about it to the other employees as we were making our way back onto the hayride. Despite the fun we've had there over the years, the rapidly climbing prices and erosion of the experience makes us question whether or not we will return.
First visit to this pumpkin farm. Tons of stuff to do for kids. There is apple picking,a tractor wagon ride to pumpkin patch and cut your own flowers. Lots of fun for kids too. I am handicap and they went out of their way to accommodate me.Everyone who works there is so sweet and helpful! My family and kids are all adults and had a great time! If i had to take points off for anything..I do think the apple picking is a little pricey.$20.00 for a small bag, and the flower cutting is $27.50. you do get a metal vase to put them in, but still a little too much. Would I go back? I would!!!
