Portland Nursery - Portland OR

My visit to Portland Nursery today was great. The weather was perfect. The staff were available, friendly, and helpful. The flowers and vegetables were plentiful and beautiful. The pottery area is set up and arranged nicely. The gift shop inside is clean and easy to navigate through. They seem to have a little bit of everything. The restrooms were easy to find, clean, and we'll stocked. Overall I really enjoyed my time here today! I highly recommend making a trip out to Portland Nursery at 50th and Stark. ☺️

It's always refreshing to go to my happy place! Staff is incredibly knowledgeable on anything you might need for gardening, flowers, and more. They had an amazing seed selection. It's still in winter mode but still has a huge selection of berries, Winter starts, and they had onion plants and horseradish. The potato seedlings were worse for wear, and I'll wait for the next shipment. The parking lot was clean and found a spot close to the entrance. I used the restroom, and it was clean and usable.

In my search for plants that are native to the pacific northwest, I have visited many nurseries and purchased an embarassing amount of plants. Searches online kept directing me to this place. I went a few days ago and WOW. The selection is fantastic. Where a lot of nurseries will have a sad little table of natives, this place had ALL of the hard to find natives I have been looking for at reasonable prices. When I took the plants home, NOT one of them were root bound. Every plant has been cared for and the layout of the nursery is easy to navigate. They also have every other type of plant, though I didn't look closely at the others, because I was on a mission! I now can say there are TWO top notch nurseries that I will drive an hour to get to.. The other is mentioned in another review and I cannot decide which one I like the best.

This place was amazing. The plants looked pristine, the entire nursery was super clean and the people couldn't have been more friendly. It was well worth the 5.5 hour round trip for 5 little cascade plants. I will definitely be going back.

Love Portland Nursery, the whole setting is like the most magical garden. Love the vibe. A great selection of flowers, their petunias are my favorite!
