Skegemog Gardens - Traverse City MI

Can't overstate how much I love having a nursery within walking and biking distance home and work. We have a family tradition of carrying our Christmas tree home. We buy are starts and all our other stuff here. Our toddler loves to say "Skeeeegahmog." This place rocks!

In the summer, come here for fresh vegetables! As an out of towner, I was blown away by the size of the tomatoes and other vegetables. This place has a great selection of typical garden center offerings—plants, flowers, pots, seeds, etc. in the front, they had the fresh produce section.

I love this place. High quality beautiful plants. Just purchased some hanging baskets and a couple beautiful little tomato plants. Never had anything but friendly, very helpful interactions here. Highly recommend

I stopped at a couple other nurseries before I went to Skegemog Gardens. Big mistake, I won’t even go back to any other garden, nursery plant store. The savings, the selections at Skegemog Gardens as amazing… I love you can buy a smaller plants and larger plants at Skegemog Gardens. Definitely. My favorite place to go for plants, and I like their selection in vegetables. Thank you.

Awesome place! Guys were super friendly and helped me find exactly what I needed (which was great because I know nothing about flowers). Better yet, got to see some faces I hadn't seen in 25 years. Stop in!
