Slaughter Orchard & Cidery - Bloomington IN

Saw the signs for this place while driving by and decided to stop. I'm glad we did. It's so cool, and the cider is delicious. The owners were really amicable as well. Got several apple cider slushies for the family, and they were so good! There are also some tables and chairs and some games to chill and relax. Definitely a great place to visit.

Best cider ever. Hands on experience too! Can't wait for the apple butter and applesauce!

The apple cider donuts were delicious. Best I’ve had. Owners were friendly- they recommended heating the donuts up, and boy were they right. Tons of other good looking stuff, too. Their Apple cider and apple cider slushees were also fantastic. I will be returning!

We stopped after visiting a local pumpkin patch and both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the cider. It's absolutely the best cider we've ever tasted. The young man working the booth had excellent customer service and was very knowledgeable despite his age. We would recommend to any cider lover.

I'd heard about this place by chance from the Bloomington Reddit, just happened to come across a post of someone recommending them as an awesome new business. We checked it out on the way to the pumpkin patch and the young man manning the register was funny and enjoyable to talk to. The cider was also super good, tastes more genuine than the stuff you get at the grocery store that probably is filled with sweeteners or mystery preservatives. Definitely worth it to buy a whole gallon.
