Too excited — first time apple picking! 🌧🍎 We thought the rain might spoil it, but it actually made the day even more fun and refreshing. The tractor ride, the pumpkins, and the varieties of apples — everything was awesome! Sticking to just a few apples per variety was impossible… ended up picking more than we needed, but totally worth it!
Beautiful orchard with great prices and plenty of delicious apples to pick. Staff is friendly and the cider donuts are amazing. Only small downside — lots of wasps around when you’re eating apples, but otherwise a perfect family spot!
My apple farm visit was an absolute delight! I was thrilled to see the fallen apples under the trees and made sure to pick them up, valuing every bite. I collected a variety of apples, including Pinata, Topaz, Winecrisp, Florina, and Crimson Crisp, and enjoyed every last bite. The self-picking experience was fantastic, and I tried my best to follow the guidelines. The donuts and apple cider were a bonus – and at great prices! The wagon ride was the cherry on top – what a fun day!
I’ve been going to Solebury Orchards for apple picking three years in a row, and it’s always such a fun experience! They have a great selection of apples—you can pick your own or buy them fresh from the shop. Their apple cider donuts are absolutely delicious and a must-try. 🍩🍎 They also offer tractor rides for apple picking, which makes it even more enjoyable, especially for families. Throughout the seasons, they have other fruits and goodies you can pick, so it’s worth checking their website before you visit. The employees are friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Just a heads-up: preregistration with a fee is required on weekends. I only wish the cost of the pass could be applied toward your purchase at checkout. Overall, it’s a wonderful orchard and definitely worth visiting!
Very neat place to spend the day or have an outing. The orchard itself is setup very nice. There’s a variety of about 10 different species of apples. Each variety has several groves to stroll and pick from. If you don’t want to actually pick yourself you can drive up to the market and just buy a selection of fresh fruits, spreads ciders and jams and especially their baked fresh cider doughnuts which are a must and super delicious. Prices are great and the service is wonderful.
