Primex Garden Center - Glenside PA

Omg! A whole mall just for us, with one huge store!! Love it!! Prices were bad! Will be back, very soon!

The initial experience from what I have been told was positive. There was someone on site to help with what plants we needed and alternatives to the ones they did not have. Then this is where things went downhill. So we ordered too many plants and it was always a fear so from the get go we asked if we could return anything we did not used. From our understanding the person we talked to said we could return them within a week. Fast forward 3 days we went to return the unused plants. I was not there for the first trip so this was my first impression of the place. As soon as a walked in I was greeted with confused looks. I asked if I was able to return the plants and I am not sure who the lady was but she was very rude and said no because its a 48 hour return policy. Ok so I left and told my wife who then left a voice message because she was told otherwise. Fast forward one more day and she got a combative rude call from I assume the manager re-iterating the 48 hours. When she told them that the one staff suggested otherwise they had to pivot to the plants were not in good condition. First of all they never even look at the plants. So not only do they hire rude staff but they are lairs on top of that. Maybe if they had binoculars but the lady never even walked up to the counter to look at the plants. This person tried to force all the blame onto us as if trying to return items was taboo. Point is what started out good turned into a nightmare. It is not worth the headache and I or any of my friends and family would never go back and I certainly would never go to them for any of my business properties that may need plants if I cannot trust them for my personal needs. I would rather go some place like gaspers that is more expensive but at least their customer service is a lot better

I hadn't been back to Primex in about 4-5 years. But we're back in the area and I was in need of a few pet-friendly house plants, and in late November. Called ahead, as we live in CC, and their team confirmed availability. Was there this afternoon and their greenhouse team was super knowledgeable and provided great customer service. Support your local independent nursery!

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. First visit to this establishment and for any further gardening or landscaping needs will prioritize stopping here over a Lowe's or Home Depot. I highly recommend you give them a chance yourself.

Nice selection but be careful as their staff tell you that all plants are guaranteed as long as you buy Bumper Crop soil but their website indicates otherwise as they do not stand by perennials.Both my wife and I heard the same thing as we had no plans to buy the soil. Will not go back as the Co-owner wrote back a snarky comment.
