Southern Belle Farm - McDonough GA

We had a wonderful time at Southern Belle Farm in McDonough! The strawberry picking experience was so much fun, and the strawberries were fresh, sweet, and delicious. The farm was well organized, clean, and family-friendly. The staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. It was a great way to spend time outdoors and make special memories with family. We truly enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back again for another picking season. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun day on the farm!

Amazing visit to pick strawberries!! The fields were full of ripe, delicious strawberries!! Visited 5/2 at 2pm, and it wasn’t too crowded at all! Temps were high 60s to low 70s and sunny and it was a perfect day for it! $20 for gallon of strawberries felt just right! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The market had amazing products and was fun to shop through, all so tastefully done. The homemade vanilla ice cream knocked our socks off - and that’s hard to do for us with ice cream! The activities area looked so thoughtfully put together and quite charming - hope to come back with some littles in the future to enjoy!! Overall could not have asked for a better outing!

Southern Belle Farms was AMAZING! There are so many activities—seriously, something for everyone. It’s perfect for kids and adults, and everything is spread out nicely so you can enjoy the whole experience without feeling crowded. The strawberry picking is a must—so fun and the strawberries are great quality. Pro tip: don’t feel like you have to buy their bucket. You can bring your own bag. If you’re going with kids, definitely get the punch cards for activities. You don’t need the $12 one—the $7 option is more than enough and gives you plenty to enjoy. That said, I highly recommend paying the $17 for the full activity access. It includes slides (which are HUGE and so much fun), car racing, a train ride, multiple playground areas, and even a bee education walkthrough. We got there around 10 AM and didn’t leave until after 3–4 PM, so this is truly a full-day activity. You also get access to the farm, which adds even more to the experience. Overall, this is a great place to spend the day with family or friends. I definitely recommend it—just come ready to have fun and stay awhile! 🌞🍓

Its was amazing. My son's kindergarten class went for a field trip in May 2026 to pick strawberries. The weather was amazing. They had a lot of stations/activities for the kids to do to enjoy/tire them out. The place was clean and had staff at every station to keep kids safe. The prices at the store are amazing and we got a gallon of 3 different types of cider, which we can't wait to try. Perfect place to go for the kiddies.

We had an amazing time strawberry picking at Southern Belle Farm. The farm is surrounded by open fields that make you feel like you’re truly out in the countryside. The strawberries were ripe, juicy, and easy to pick - even for first-timers and kids. The atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful, pointing us to the best rows and answering questions without making it feel rushed. It’s clean, organized, and there’s plenty of space to move around without feeling crowded. Beyond the picking, the whole experience just feels wholesome. There’s something simple and satisfying about filling your basket with fresh berries under the sun. We left with sweet strawberries and even sweeter memories. If you’re looking for a fun, wholesome outdoor activity close to nature, Southern Belle Farm is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back next season.
