Went to check out this nursery. Close to our home. Very large building inside with many products for your home garden needs. Good selection. 👍 then outside another very large area with many trees, shrubs and fruit trees. The employees are very helpful and courteous. Highly recommend 👌

I had honestly one of the best shopping experiences of my life at Star Nursery. I came in with a long list of items and absolutely no gardening knowledge, and Pierre went above and beyond to help me. He walked through my entire list with me, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, and offered thoughtful recommendations and insights at every step. I was especially impressed to learn he’s only been there about a month—his level of knowledge, patience, and professionalism was incredible. On top of that, he proactively loaded several heavy bags of soil and mulch into a larger cart for me, and when I decided at checkout that I needed even more, he didn’t hesitate to go grab additional bags with a great attitude. It was clear he genuinely wanted to help and takes pride in his work. Truly a phenomenal employee. Also, special shoutout to Diana, who helped me navigate the tomato plants and pick out a great cucumber plant, and to Ryan, who was super friendly and proactive in helping me load everything into my car while making great conversation along the way. This was hands down the most positive experience I’ve ever had at any store. Exceptional customer service all around. Highly recommend. 5/5 stars! ⭐️

Every time I come here, Molly is my go-to! She’s always so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She’s given me great advice on caring for my plant babies, and thanks to her, they’re absolutely thriving!

My wife and I visited the Star Nursery on Blue Diamond Road twice this month, and both times I had the pleasure of working with James. He is upbeat, professional, has a great sense of humor, and is incredibly knowledgeable. We originally walked in with a completely different plant list and design plan, but after spending time with James and hearing his recommendations, we confidently changed direction. His guidance was thoughtful, practical, and clearly based on real experience — not just what looks good on a shelf. James knows the nursery inside and out. I honestly think you could blindfold him and he could still walk you straight to a Bay Laurel without hesitation. That level of familiarity and expertise makes a huge difference when you're trying to make the right choices for your landscape. If you're looking for quality plants, honest advice, and expert recommendations, James is your guy. Just look for the one employee that the large yard cat, Ted, seems to be following around — you'll know you've found the right person. Outstanding customer service and a great experience on both visits.

Great selection of trees, bushes and palms. I asked about sod. They get a load daily, charge $2.50 for 5 sq ft. When we looked at it by noon however it looked extremely dried out. I feel this may be something you would need to get first thing in the morning as soon as they got it before high heat or wait until the heat dies down for the season so you can properly take care of it and water it appropriately. I look forward to redoing my backyard and picking some great plants and trees from Star Nursery. Thanks for some inspirational ideas.
