Came out to pick blackberries on the opening season. Arriving we already knew it would be a great time. It's really inviting and the folks or owners working there are super great and helpful. The blackberries were plentiful and you had plenty of time to search out the best of the bunch. I'm sure they get cleaned out of blackberries quickly but there was plenty growing that would be ready for the next round of people. We'll definitely be back!
This was the first year we went here for a cut Christmas tree and the tree was amazing. We got out the opening weekend and it's barely lost any needles in all these weeks. We'll be back next year for sure. Thank you
The people were so nice and helpful and there were a ton of delicious ripe blackberries! $4 per pint. Definitely coming back!
Yesterday afternoon, I brought the kiddos here. It was our first time picking berries at this location and the first time for the summer, so I was ready to have some outdoor fun! While they don't have an indoor restroom, I was grateful to find they had a very clean port-a-potty. Because that was the very first thing my toddler asked to do! This place is adorable! Their little house where you get your basket and then pay is so sweet!! There are chairs out front by beautiful flowers (talk about perfect for a picture). They provide small wooden baskets that hold two empty cardboard pints. The nice boy at the counter explained what was growing where and we were on our way! We came at a time where blackberries and raspberries were available. I have to say that things were pretty picked over on this particular day - while the bushes were decently loaded with berries, most of them were green. While I enjoyed the hunt this provided, my toddler eventually lost interest. Go figure. We ended up with one pint of blackberries. We visited the raspberry bushes, but there were literally only a handful left. They'd run out over the weekend, so that why we visited on a Wednesday. So make sure you check their facebook page or call ahead in case they close early.
Family-owned you pick blackberry and raspberry farm, is a treat as a family outing, date, or way to save money on fresh produce while enjoying the sun and outdoors. Picked a dozen pints of huge gorgeous berries for only $20 this Labor day weekend for the freezer. Folks are friendly and helpful. Bushes well trimmed. The raspberry had a bad year and are sparse however. Bring garden gloves if you have any. Don't be afraid of brambles, there are thornless varieties.
