Thierbach Orchards & Berry Farm - Marthasville MO

This is our favorite pick your own orchard. We make several trips here each year. Our favorite place for apples especially--must try the apple cider donuts. We did cherries and peaches this year. It was a more genuine farm experience for the kids than a place like eckerts. Much less picked over, better quality. This is a real farm and the family is very nice.

The drive from I70 to the farm is amazing. Vast fields, scenic curves and small ponds makes it very picturesque. The farm is beautiful in itself, spread across in three different zones. The majority was peach and the two smaller were for blueberry and blackberry. We visited on Monday 12PM and were the only family for picking. The berries were sweet and tasty. Overall experience was memorable. Our kids enjoyed the wagon ride and the hen house located on the other side of tent.

There are a lot of family activities along with apple picking! And so many varieties! There are many salsa's, butters, apple cider and various canned yummies available for purchase! Plus amazing apple donuts!! This year they started having pick your own flowers 4 miles down the road at their other location - and they are just beautiful!

We went on a cloudy day after it rained during the night. Very cool and enjoyable experience with the family. DON’T be too eager and pick the closest to the road or main path. Get inside where others rarely go. Then you will get the best fruits.

Beautiful space with easily accessible berry bushes and trees. Pricing is fair and they provide wagons and fruit containers as well as ladders for hard to get berries. Overall a great experience.
