Went last weekend and it was fun for a 1st experience picking apples at an orchard. We got over 21lbs. Big variety of apples and other fruits to pick from. Pumpkins too. The guy running the place was nice and helpful. The prices for honey were the cheapest and best I've ever seen in all of Iowa. If your in Altoona sometime, stop in and try this place.
Amazing experience getting to pick your own veggies. The owners are incredibly kind. They also make their own honey! Too bad we found them so late in the fall, will definitely be back next spring!
Laura was really helpful and welcoming! They have lots of veggies and fruits to choose from. You can pretty much pick whatever you want and take home. The prices were very reasonable almost like shopping at a grocery store but getting quality produce.
Fantastic place! They have a huge selection of apples and other produce, as well as the best honey I've ever tasted. It's very kid-friendly with child-sized buckets and long apple-picking sticks. Trips to Upstream Gardens and Orchard are quickly becoming a family tradition.
