We were getting water into our basement. Called Valley Gardens and got a very reasonable quote. They spent a total of 7 days to complete job which was a 80 foot by 55 foot retaining wall (see pictures). I absolutely could not be more pleased with the level of professionalism and respect the workers showed while here. They greeted us every morning while we left for work, kept the mess as minimal as possible, and made sure thebmachines were parked out-of the way when leaving for the day. Again, there is no way to express the level of professionalism this company showed. We WILL be using them again with future projects.
After no luck at Greens due to equipment being down, I stopped in here attempting to purchase bulk mulch. The man outside watering was very friendly and directed me inside to get the purchase completed. I walked into the desk area and was standing directly across from an older woman on a computer so I assumed she would address me once she had a free second. I continued to wait, and wait and wait. Another older gentleman who seemed to work there walked by and never addressed me so I continued to try and be patient but the woman never once even looked at me to acknowledge my presence. So after 7-10 minutes of this I decided to leave. There is absolutely no excuse for not acknowledging a customer. Just saying "hey sorry I'm wrapped up in something it will be " x" amount of time before I can help you, would be sufficient. Luckily Google came to the rescue and I found D&S garden center on martins branch road and they were so friendly and helpful and I'm pretty sure their price per scoop was even cheaper. I know valley gardens is a well established business in the area and my purchase wouldn't impact them either way but if you're a regular average customer looking for a business who values ALL customers, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Do not go to Valley Gardens. I ordered 3 bushes to be planted over a month ago. I called 3 different times and it was excuse after excuse not to put me on the schedule. I will never purchased again from this place. I got my money back!
I stopped in for a truck load of compost. The transaction was quick and i was on my way home with a truck full of compost in minutes. I was warmly greeted by each of the staff I encountered. The nursery had a lot of very nice plants and shrubs, and I intend to return to pick out a few for our yard. Thanks for the kind, efficient service.
Amazing little plant store. I could tell they really take good care of their plants. The woman working was knowledgeable and friendly. I was excited to see house plants that are different than what you find at big box stores. I was able to get something unique to add to my collection.
