14th Street Garden Center - Jersey City NJ

I stopped by (having never bought outdoor plants) and they were so helpful, accommodating and gave great advice on amount of soil needed, amount of flowers to fit my area, suggestions on flower pot size and even delivered it to me on a weekend where the delivery guy was not working. It was so much fun browsing all their options, my small outdoor area is the oasis i was hoping for. I easily found every flower in my inspiration pictures. Oh, and they offered to plant my hydrangea plant in the terracotta pot I purchased there.

After many years of bargain shopping for trees at Home Depot and elsewhere, we bought our first 14th Street tree this year. We paid $120 for a 6-foot Frazier fir on November 30, with a $60 delivery fee. The guys who came to set up the tree were prompt and great, but this tree was an absolute rock star. Arrived very healthy and took water until the moment we took it down today, January 11. Best tree we've ever had. 🫡 Gone but not forgotten.

Nice selection of plants, and the prices are cheaper compared to others. The plants were healthy. The staff were not very friendly and seemed unhappy with their job.

Found this place when I was looking for more plants to buy in the summer, when the selection at Home Depot just wasn't up to par. This place is great, so many beautiful plants, and lots of beautiful planters too. The workers are very nice, they leave me alone to browse and enjoy the plants they offer for as long as I need. and I find myself going back again and again for my house plant needs. I also love their seasonal changes, I went for the first time in the fall season this month and their pumpkin and squash collection is amazing. I wish I knew about them last year for my pumpkin decorations!

Really beautiful place, they offer a massive selection of plants, succulents, house plants, flowers, pots in every size, and much more. The staff is a knowledgeable, kind and courteous. I thought it was really cool that they offer some house plants in several sizes. I don’t think this place necessarily is budget friendly, you might get a better deal at Home Depot or stores as such, but you pay for quality here as this place takes great care of all the plants that they have. They also offer to repot any plants when you buy a pot as well, which is really convenient. I will be coming back for sure. I would recommend everybody to stop in and check out this oasis!
