I love the early bird discount in the spring which gets me jazzed about spring planting! I also love the occasional emails that are full of great information and links to more fantastic gardening ideas like Maine native plants.

Staff was very helpful with my questions. Great selection of annuals for summer and fall containers. I appreciated the value and selection of the variety pots (3-4 flower varieties in 1 pot) that I used as the center of my summer planters, adding other annuals of my choice. For Fall, they offer a good selection of classics and accent plants at affordable prices, though I did go to a few nurseries to complete my vision. Found a few gems in the Perennial end of season sale too.

They are very helpful and informative! I ordered a gift card online and they communicated with me throughout the shipping process. provided a tracking number and even followed up after it was delivered to make sure I had no issues with my order. We have purchased several beautiful perennials here including holly bushes and are very happy with the quality!!

Love this place! Such a large selection of annuals, perennials and shrubs. Staff member answered my specific questions on a hydrangea. Lots of carts available for your selections. Easy to get to, so close to the mall and 95 and 295. Location in Westbrook is smaller, but staff is just as helpful!

Have been shopping at BWG for over 20 years and absolutely love this place! There is always a great selection of strong, healthy annuals and perennials, shrubs and trees and I’ve bought some (lots!) of everything. And there is usually a worker available for questions, suggestions and help. I always take advantage of their gift card sale in early spring- great savings as I am known to empty my wallet a few times in during the season. BWG ROCKS!!!
