Date Creek Ranch - Wickenburg AZ

I want to share our experience with Date Creek ranch. We have never ordered large quantities of meat before, so this is a new experience for us. Ordering was easy, pick up was easy. The meat was wrapped very well in both plastic and paper. Each packet is well marked. All of that is well and good but the reason for my review is this: The meat tastes wonderful. The aroma while it is cooking takes you back to your childhood when meat smelled and tasted like this. Eating the meat from the local grocer for many years makes you think, that is the way it is supposed to smell and taste. It is not. The meat from Date Creek ranch will spoil your taste buds. The aroma coming from the grill/ stove/ slow cooker will make your mouth water. We bought a quarter of beef and once we figure out how long it will last we will be placing another order. So should you.

Nice apple orchard once you arrive. The only issue is trying to turn off, small access area. The road to get there is 4 miles dirt road, but it is a clear pathway. Nice friendly staff and atmosphere. Recommend small trolley for apples. They offer fresh local honey🍏. Great for family or single outing to try something new. In addition, they offer apple pie and grass fed beef.

We've ordered a whole hog and half a cow from Date Creek and have bee very impressed with both products. We were ordering our beef from a place who was a little bit more "on demand" and had more accessibility from Phoenix. However, my husband and I have been incredibly impressed with the quality of the cuts and flavor of the beef. We're excited to place our next order with them because it is certainly worth the wait!

We have purchased beef from Date Creek Ranch several times. Simply the best beef our family has ever had.
