Green Thumb Nursery - Canoga Park - Los Angeles CA

I have been to Green Thumb Nursery twice now, and each time I visit, I end up spending even more than the last—and I do so happily! This store is absolutely incredible. It is filled with wonderful, helpful staff and some of the most beautiful items I’ve ever seen for a home and garden. I am now a very loyal, soon-to-be "regular" here. I’ve started specifically collecting the bonsai, which are beautifully created and meticulously cared for by Mr. Fidel. I have become a huge fan of his work; I proudly display his bonsai on my balcony and receive compliments from everyone who sees them. His knowledge and passion for these trees are evident. I already plan to be back very soon for another batch! To the owner: Bonsai is such a beautiful, almost forgotten art form. I truly believe many people would pay good money to take lessons from someone as knowledgeable as Mr. Fidel right here at the nursery. It’s just an idea… I look forward to coming here many, many more times. I am so grateful I was recommended to this shop—from what I can tell, there is no better place in the San Fernando Valley to find high-quality bonsai that are actually cared for by an expert. so I'm a developer and we bought around $2,800 worth of cacti and succulents. we decided to buy some fun indoor plants. The indoor plants they sell die very very quickly Even though the living room was temperature and humidity control.. But the worst part is they trick you they sell you plants with dye in it so they'll put white dye so the plants look unique and white or red etc and then when the new growth comes in it's a normal boring plant. for example this one they charged us $30 for it and besides dying the new growth was all green. so be careful they don't take it back and they trick you into paying a lot more for what should be around 1/6 the price at the dollar store

Quality plants, seeds, fertilizer. The staff is helpful and friendly. They allow trained well behaved puppies to come with you in the store. Just a good place to shop and learn.

Green Thumb Nursery in Canoga Park has the most beautiful plants in the west SFV, huge variety of indoor and outdoor plants. Everything is healthy and well taken care off. The staff is friendly and very helpful. It’s paradise! I can’t wait to go back and fill up my car again with more flowers and groundcover!

Employees are friendly and knowledgeable! We really enjoy coming here. We bought lemonade blueberries that I wanted really bad.
