Stopped by on my way home, first time visiting and was such a nice surprise. From the parking lot i could see the most adorable little goat, after getting out of the car i watched 3 chicken hop their fence and stroll through the parking lot, was nice to see them roaming free. Went inside to a dining area which was so nice filled with all different types of plants. Past the dining area was a bar, im not much of a drinker but i cannot pass on a slushie, so i ended up getting a mango mix it was so refreshing and not overwhelming.at all. The food was good as well
My family and I went for their holiday lights display Lumina and had a great time. They decorated beautifully. I love the warm beverage stands throughout and the tasty food choices at the end. I recommend bundling up for a walk around the farm.
“I hate to interrupt your lunch but…”. After buying $100+ of cider, beer, food (don’t expect to be able to buy from the lunch menu until noon, on the dot), and gifts a worker made a point to walk all the way out to the field and picnic table just as we’d set up our lunch to tell us pets are not allowed and we cannot stay (there was another dog in the greenhouse!). There are plenty of other “rules” and signs attempting to control behavior (“Orchard closed. Trespassers will be punished swiftly and to the full extent of the law.” and “Keep your kids seated in the greenhouse.”). Only 1 sign posted on the front of the building re dogs but no where else. I was told I could “read it online”. Well, I hope you’re “reading this online”…there are plenty of other places to enjoy your Sunday afternoon friends!
Came here for a breakfast bite with wife. Latte and avocado toast were both perfect. Staff were friendly and grounds were clean. Will be back when there is more produce later in the year to buy.
The roasted corn was honestly the best corn I’ve ever had in my life, perfectly sweet and delicious! Their Apple Cider Smash was really good too, and the apple cider donuts were warm and yummy. Now for the not-so-great parts: the lines were extremely long, easily over an hour wait just to get food or do any activity. Some of the vendors felt sketchy, and one BBQ food stand charged me extra “tax” fees that weren’t listed anywhere — no other vendor did that. The food was also very overpriced for the small portions. The website is misleading because it says general admission includes hayrides, but when you get there, it’s actually an extra $5. Pretty much every single activity or item costs extra, so your ticket only covers entry and a free scoop of cheesecake. To top it off, they only accept cash, and the on-site ATM hits you with a $4 fee, which is ridiculous. Overall, it could’ve been a much better experience with more transparency and organization.
