This market is very charming. I had been here before a few years ago and forgot about it and was driving past today and went in and picked up some items. I will be back on Thursday morning to get their fresh cinnamon donuts. They have a very nice selection of fresh vegetables, jams and other farm.Items such as meat and fruit.
Good small Farmer's Market. Tasty fresh eggs. Good peaches. Tasty heavy cream. Later in the summer and early fall there's going to be heirloom tomatoes and great local apples. ... Well, my favorite local fall CrimsonCrisp apples are back in stock now! Last year I bought them and we all liked their crisp facture, aroma and sour-sseet taste, but I had no idea that these apples would stay forever in a refrigerator (like months!) without losing their quality. Nothing like that is ever available in supermarkets.
I never knew about Heyser Farms until the Holiday market in Wheaton. I was so amazed and happy with their apple sauce!!! Most of all, I am still feeling warm and fuzzy by their customer service and hospitality. My kids and I are truly feeling the holiday spirit with Heyser!! ♥️
If you think you're going there to get their famous unpasteurized apple cider that is the best there is, as I have for over the past 50 years. Well, you better call ahead to confirm it's the real thing because they substituted a outsourced 'pasteurized' brand in its place and failed to tell me when I called in advance. I gladly drove 60 miles to buy several gallons of the original only to discover it wasn't. The children who were working their had every excuse except the truth. All those decades of the Heyers name fallen to the compost pile of time. So disappointing. **** Response to Owner 10/30: I completely understand and would support everything you represented with the exception of one major detail that is plainly your responsibility. If you're substituting your famous original unpasteurized cider with a product that doesn't meet your original specifications, you know you should inform your staff to inform your customers. It's the courteous and professional way of business and as a once dedicated customer, I deserve the same respect and consideration as your employees and that clearly was not displayed.Thank you for responding.
Love this place! It’s adorable with its fresh picked flowers and great, local, produce available. The ground beef had the best, freshest flavor I’ve had in a long time.
