It’s important what we put in our bodies. Quality meat is the basis for our diet and luckily in researching healthy pork suppliers, we found Open Barn Farm. They raise premium, pasture-grown, heritage hogs. Because we live in Florida and the farm is near a Fredericksburg, VA, we decided to go Whole Hog! We arranged with Peter and Emma to pick it up on our return from a trip to Maryland. We stopped by the farm along the Rappahannock River (Beautiful!). After a quick tour of where the pigs were raised (in the open near a corn field), we picked up the packed 120quart cooler which Peter had stuffed with sausages, ribs, shoulder roasts and some of the most delicious thick-cut pork chops! The 10 hour drive home was no problem and the goods remained frozen. Definitely returning for my next one!

Open Barn Farm's Tallow Lotion and Lip Balm are an absolute skincare revelation. I use the nearly naked lotion; lightly floral and sweet, but not much of any smell. I also purchased the vanilla lavender & Herbal Mint lip balm…. I don’t know which smell I enjoy better!!! The Tallow lotion leaves my skin feeling smooth and thoroughly nourished from the hydration and the wholesome benefits of tallow. This lotion has been a game changer for my sister, who struggles with eczema on her hands and feet. She was even able to purchase the lavender scent, as there are zero artificial fragrances applied to the lotion. On the other hand, the lip balm performs as a multitasking miracle. I use the lip balm mainly for my lips, but I also use this as a highlighter on the cheeks and for the dry patches on my chin. This lip balm is good for anything on the go!! Both items exemplify Open Barn Farm's dedication to quality and excellence. 10/10 highly recommend. Bravo!!
