The essence of Fall in Athens AL! The smell of funnel cakes fill the air and apple cider slushes are served fresh daily! Amazing experience for families and friends.
I love this place! Their staff are friendly, kind, courteous, and down to earth honest! Their store location is kept clean with plenty of space to wander around. The available produce is in season and filled with flavor!! I love the peaches, and the peanuts are perfect for making boiled peanuts in large batches! Their cider looks amazing but I cannot drink this because of the sugar. They have a lovely space for families to hang out and take pictures by some old tractor and the kids to swing on a swing set. You can wander around the farm some in back, just don't go to far. They have rows and rows of persimon trees, and a whole plot just for flowers which is food for their honey bees. This farm is doing it right!! Their location is handicap accessible, just be aware their parking lot is gravel, so take that into consideration.
I saw this beautiful place on my way to Huntsville. I turned around and pulled in. I'm so glad I did. Isom's has a goregeous display of fresh vegetables, raw honey, and apple cider. I also loved the Fall decor and hospitality. Oh, and the tomatoes I purchased had my salad from Publix bursting with flavor.
I went today with my daddy, that it’s visiting from Puerto Rico and we had a blast. $12 for a cup and you pick you own flowers. We’ve share an Apple Cider Slushie for the first time and it was so delicious that I have to buy another one ($5). They have beautiful mums, of course, I have to buy one pot. They have so many fresh vegetables and fruits for a good price. Y’all have to go an visit them. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable! I definitely will go back. After picking the flowers, we sat down on a swing underneath the Pecan tree (I almost fall asleep) 🙃
My Family and I had our first visit here from Birmingham and I must say it was worth the mini road trip!! We will definitely be visiting again and the staff was very friendly and inviting. I was informed about this place from New Photography Clients and I am glad I found it. The potential for fresh seasonal foods and beautiful photos is a perfect combination for me!! I really wanted to try the donuts I saw on their Facebook page however I will know in the future to come early cause they were so good they were sold out however the Apple Cider slush was unexpectedly delicious!! I would buy it again for sure.
