Scotts Orchard - Hazel Green AL

Always have a great time every year. Prices are reasonable for apple picking and items in their store. Their slushies and cider jugs are a MUST. The peach ice cream was also really good. Tons of fun, plenty of parking, friendly staff (usually, not always). Definitely recommend.

Brought back memories growing up and working at Appleway Orchards. Enjoyed a cold fruit slushie. Highly recommend a visit if visiting the Hazel Green area.

What a wonderful hidden gem! We passed by this place while on the way to a birthday party, and just had to stop on our way back home. All of the employees are beyond polite, the fried pies are delicious, the slushies are by far my favorite part (try the peach if you go)! My children loved picking apples, and getting to play before we shopped. Do yourself a favor, and plan an afternoon here!

The Apple orchard was ok…some trees didn’t have good yield while others were doing great. That’s just how it is. The store, the sweets, the fried Apple Pies, the staff, AWESOME!!! Really, really nice folks and great food / drinks. Good times, and very fall-like atmosphere. We would certainly go back.

I put in my Google maps on Friday 07/11/2025 peach orchards in Alabama. Scotts Orchard came up, and they were having a you pick day today, 07/12/2025. We set out on an adventure. We didn't get up early, and by the time we made it down there, about 1:00 pm, it was so very hot and muggy. Those nice folks had a whole bunch of baskets full of ripe juicy peaches. We also got some peach preserves and some peach butter. Do not leave without getting a peach slushy and a peach fried pie. They also have apples that will be ready next month, and fresh vegetables too. It is a great Saturday afternoon drive. We will be going g back for apples when they are ready. I highly recommend that you do as Miss Suzy Bogguss said in the last century, " Drive South " and come see the friendly folks at Scotts Orchard.
