Our wedding at Blue Leaf Barn was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning surrounded by beautiful countryside, a charming blueberry orchard, and peaceful farm views that made every photo feel magical. What makes this place truly special, though, is the heart behind it. The owners, a wonderful couple and longtime friends, have poured so much love and hard work into building not just a venue, but a full experience. Between the pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and safari park, there’s a unique sense of warmth, family, and fun everywhere you look. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful and welcoming everything felt. The barn is spacious yet cozy, with thoughtful touches that make it feel elegant but still natural and relaxed. It’s the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. I’m so grateful we chose Boyd Family Farms for our wedding day it was everything we hoped for and more. If you’re looking for a venue with heart, beauty, and true Southern hospitality, Blue Leaf Barn is the place.
Probably one of my favorite experiences ever! The staff and owners were so friendly and kind. The place is clean and well taken care of. The animals were amazing and unique. The capybaras and Lemur were my favorite to have witnessed. If you have never been before, you must! Will definitely be back!
I went to opening day on today, June 6th. This was my first time going. I brought my young child and I had a friend with her two kids come as well. Upon arriving- there’s signs as your driving in because it’s a shared road for the entrance and exit and continently located pull offs for when there are two cars going in different directions. Parking was straight forward and easy to get in and out. My friend and I were the first ones there today. We wanted to get season tickets but the system had some difficulties but the staff/owners were amazing and so apologetic about it all. After only a few minutes we got it sorted. I am so glad we went. The animals are so amazing. The baby porcupine- Poppy I believe is her name- was so adorable and vocal. It was so cool to see her up close. The raccoon- mavis- was also so entertaining. I just wish the signs had the names of the animals on them! Plenty of seating by the playground and petting zoo. Just wish there was more than one baby swing for younger kids. I will definitely be adding this to my list of things to do often with my kid. It felt very honey and well taken care of. The staff were friendly and helpful.
My family loved it! We had alot of fun. Lots of animals.. the exotic ones are amazing and farm animals. Play area for the kids and a petting zoo. Hayride to the pumpkin farm. It's only $10 to get in.. It's great! I would definitely recommend this farm to everyone.
This farm is cute with a lot of variety of animals to see. The feed cup is only $1! The price of admission is reasonable at $10 as well! The staff were so friendly! We got there when it opened and got to tour by ourselves. The only negative is the drive back to the farm but just take it slow 😎
