Ono Organic Farms - Hana HI

We had an unforgettable experience here. We got an amazing tour with a ton of learning, exposure, and tasting of different types of exotic fruits. Our guide Garrett was knowledgeable but also fun and kind, they really care about your experience and they have fun with you on the tour. It's nice because you don't get that regimented tourist ticketed tour feel, it's a family showing you around. We were able to try some fruits that often aren't in season picked right from the tree and they even give you a huge to go box. Was such a great time.

We did a private farm tour today and it was 10/10 for the highlight so far! Incredibly glad we booked this at the beginning of our trip as we were given a huge box of fresh fruit to take back with us so we can enjoy for the rest of the week! Kasey was our tour guide and was incredibly kind, friendly, and informative for the entire tour. We also had our 2 kids with us (10 and 7) and she was engaging with them as they asked the silly typical kid like questions. She made it a point to stop or reverse back through the tour and show us examples of things we asked about and also kept the kids stocked up on their favorite fruits. My kids were bummed that mango and pomelo were not in season so we will definitely be visiting again and requesting Kasey as our tour guide! She also recommended some amazing places for us to go. My son is currently training to be a shaved ice connoisseur and she recommended Tobi's to us, which is now currently at the top of his list!

My daughter and I enjoyed a personal tour of the farms by way of a mule (motorized). Our guide had been working there for 8 years and was very knowledgeable. We made several stops under various fruit trees, many of which I had never heard, and he cut fresh fruit and presented it to us on a cutting board. He provided bug spray, paper towels (needed for the juicy fruit), and hand wash. We spent 2 hours on the tour and finished back at a covered area where we filled a box full of fresh fruit to take with us! We paired this activity with a drive on the Road to Hana. It was a long drive, and treacherous at times, but we are glad we visited Ono!

Incredible experience at Ono Organic Farms with our tour guide Nick! We came with our two kids and he was kind, considerate of the kids and incredibly knowledgeable. We all learned so much, tried so many new to us fruits, and had a great time. Beautiful farm and amazing experience! Would highly recommend - and we’ll definitely be back.

Ride up without four-wheel drive was a bit iffy, but the tour was terrific! Tried so many fruits that we had never even heard of. Most were delicious, but we were glad to sample them all. I especially like Acerola Cherries and Pomelo. Bobby was a fantastic tour guide and took the time to explain everything we were seeing and tasting and to answer all of our questions. We were really excited to take box of fruit to go and share with our friends on the big island.
