Lovely farm with amazing staff and the cutest alpacas! We were pleasantly surprised by having a private tour of the farm on a quiet weekend. Our tour guide brought freshly cut fruit that we were able to use to feed the alpacas. It wasn't dragonfruit season but we were able to see mini pineapples and other beautiful plants on the property. We ended our tour with fresh fruit platter and fresh dragonfruit lemonade with a beautiful view. Perfect place for young families as well as a great venue for events.
Neat experience. You get to see plants and fruits that are not common. Our guide was really knowledgeable about explaining how the Natives use the plants. The views are amazing. While eating our fruit we were able to enjoy seeing the whales splashing around and blowing the water. It's a little hot up there so make sure you have some water on hand.
Our tour guide Nick was very informative and fun! Amazing views of both water and the hills behind you. I love how it's a completely organic farm as well. Fruit was tasty!
We went on the "Alpaca and Tropical Fruit Tasting Combo Tour". This was such a cool experience! Our tour guide, Mac, was VERY knowledgeable about all the plants and information about the Farm. We also met Lance who was wonderful and answered all our silly Alpaca questions. So - if you are interested in the tour it is a plethora of information about so many plants (many I've never even heard of since I'm not local). Mac gave us fun facts and let us smell (and sometimes even taste) some of the plants along the way. You get to visit the Alpaca and feed them some fresh cut fruits (they are a little shy.... but they love their fruit). Then at the end you get to indulge in some of the most amazing fresh tropical fruit grown right there on the farm (while relaxing hillside with an ocean view)! If you are looking for a unique experience this is it... and ask for Mac!
My partner and I did the farm and tea tour on 2/16/26. I debated leaving a review because I think this place has the capacity to be something incredible and I want to see it succeed. But I feel the need to share to help others not feel misled about the current stage this farm is at, especially given the tour price point. I’ve spent most of my life working in agriculture, including working on an herb farm. I have a firm understanding of the stages that it takes to get a small farm up and going and have worked on farms that have a non-traditional layout. I was very unimpressed by the lack of knowledge our tour guide had and the lack of clarity and purpose in the layout of the farm, even amidst the beauty present. It sounds like other folks have had a positive experience with their guides, but ours kept saying “I always forget the name of ___…” “I think..” and “I’m not sure…” as he delivered information (not even in response to questions we were asking). As he handed us herbs to try he couldn’t tell us with certainty which parts of the plant were edible, immediately throwing up red flags to us, especially since we are from a northern climate with little understanding of tropical plants. We immediately started using our plant ID apps to double check any information he was giving us. Maybe if we had had a different tour guide I wouldn’t be leaving this review.. If there is an overarching vision for the space, the staff should know more about it because I left feeling like it was disjointed and random. I believe the general layout of the many fruits on the farm is supposed to resemble edible landscaping and/or a food forest. But the space felt very bare given the climate and the age of the farm. We were disappointed by how little was present and producing but could overlook it because we know farms aren’t in their peak state year round. We were also confused by the water ball and the zip line offerings, but understand trying to diversify income streams. We were, however, impressed by the vineyard feel the pergolas offered looking over the dragonfruit space with the ocean in the back drop. We also really enjoyed the tea and fruit pairing— it was the redeeming element of the whole experience but I’m fairly certain the fruit wasn’t produced on the farm. The owner was also very accommodating when we needed to reschedule. Overall I think the price point for this experience should be reconsidered until, at the very least, all the tour staff are properly trained and educated. If they can’t keep trained staff, educational plaques throughout the farm with a map/brochure would go a long way.
