5 STAR tree, guidance, delivery, & installation! Smooth and easy peasy! I researched and wanted two Ceanothus 'Ray Hartman' trees which (when purchased as a tree Standard form) can be pruned and shaped into a heat tolerant small tree for pollinators and blue flowers (instead of a wide rounded shrub). Called Perez and she said they had some as tree form. Perez had two beautiful 15-gal staked specimens in March. If you buy several items, they can be delivered for one charge. Wanda advised me to let them settle in before cutting off the lower branches, and asked if I had garden soil, so I was pleased to go with the one planting mix they had. Irma called to schedule delivery. Angel did a great installation in front yard and back yard as shown in first 2 pics, supplementing with the Happy Hippie planting mix. He had to remove a shrub tree for the back yard installation and did it so cleanly that he placed the removed shrub for me in my 15-gallon pot with some more of the planting mix, and I had him carry it to a corner of the yard! The 3rd pic is the kind of mature size for which I hope to shape these Ceanothus 'Ray Hartman'. I would be happy to order other items with Perez if I'm looking for something in the future. I regularly go there for succulents and they have some fun colorful garden accents.

First time visiting Perez Nursery in Brentwood and I was blown away by the wide selection of unusual and beautiful varieties of popular plants as well as less common plants that I haven’t seen at other nurseries. A couple of friends had recommended this nursery before and I wish I’d visited sooner. Even though it’s a drive for me to get there, this will be my go to nursery from now on.
