Pure Land Farm - McKinney TX

This is our second summer picking produce from Pure Land Farm, and we purchased the season pass this year because we LOVED it so much after our first summer. The farm is so easy to understand, what and how to pick, they have easy to scan directions in front of each crop which is so helpful. Their website is so well thought through with even guides on how to clean and properly store your produce to get the most of everything. Everything we get from their on our weekly trips are perfectly ripe and so much better tasting than anything you’d buy in the store. As a homeschool mom of 6 kids this makes a great educational activity for us, and it’s so important for me to feed my children locally grown food as much as possible. It’s been a blast creating beautiful floral arrangements each week. We are very happy about the prices, and the staff has always been so friendly and welcoming and helps you tremendously. Farmer Jack has helped us several times when we are struggling to get up some carrots and makes it easier for us. We live in East Dallas and drive up here every week to get our pick in during the picking season. We absolutely love this farm, and love what they are offering to the community, it’s truly irreplaceable!

My partner and I have been going to Pure Land Farm for 2 years now (this year being the first year we have become a season pass holder) and it has been straight pure joy every single visit. The level of flavor the produce has coming outta of this farm is insane and the ability to enjoy yourself in an activity away from the city is such a gift. 20/10 highly recommend!

This is our 3rd year for "Mimi/Jade pick-it days" at Pure Land Farm, and always eager with anticipation! At 5 years old, my granddaughter is now a seasoned "expert" at finding and harvesting her favorite veggies (and berries!). The farm is spacious and abundant, staff is always encouraging and helpful, and of course the pickings are delicious!! We love to find new recipes to play with and try to utilize all parts, including onion and carrot tops. Pick-it days are the BEST time to celebrate growing seasons, and a perfect opportunity for kids to learn where their food comes from!!

Love this place. Such a hidden gem. Not only is the farm beautiful, but really well laid out and organized, clean and easy to navigate. The team is so friendly and helpful. Such a good place for a country experience in the city. Great for field trips or just a day out enjoying nature. The blackberries are our fave!

Pure Land Farm has become such a special part of our family’s story. For the past three years, we've made it a tradition to visit every season with our children, now four and five years old, and it’s something they look forward to with so much excitement. We always get the season pass because one visit is never enough. From the moment you arrive, you can feel how much care and love goes into this farm. The staff is always welcoming and kind, and the environment is peaceful, clean, and truly family-friendly. My kids absolutely love berry picking, running through the fields, and just being surrounded by nature. It's a place where we slow down, make memories, and enjoy the simple joys together.
