The owners are the sweetest! They know so much about the produce they grow there. It's so beautiful, like from a movie scene.

Beautiful place to visit, perfect outing for a family. The cider slushes were so good and not all of the junk added to it. Just a nice, fresh slush. My kids really enjoyed picking apples! Will definitely go back annually.

Unfortunately, our experience at Shade Tree was just awful! Our homeschool homestead co-op went as a group of 50+ yesterday and had to pay $10 a person! The kids did 1 craft. They went to 2 "sessions" and none of us could hear or understand anything. Why exactly did parents and siblings have to pay? There were no apples to pick, they were out of apple cider, and Farmer Tom was incredibly rude. When we got on the tractor ride he told the kids they weren't allowed to "talk loud" or moo/talk at the cows. What? Thankfully, our group was incredibly well behaved..they just didn't understand why he was so mean. If they don't like kids, maybe they shouldn't allow them? The whole "field trip" was less than an hour and just incredibly disappointing! The only positives were Riley, the pup and $9 apple cider donuts.

Tom and Sarah are amazing! The orchard has blueberries in June, Blackberries in July, Peaches in July, and apples in the late summer! There are also great family events throughout the year!

Great spot in Robertson county to come get some locally made items. Nice orchard to walk around and explore, and the shop sells fresh baked items with farm grown fruit. They have a great assortment of locally made jams, syrups, honey, etc… Overall, nice place to spend a fall afternoon.
