Shady Hill Greenhouse-Nursery - Londonderry NH

I went to Shady Hill on April 29th, 2024, with my wife to look for some lettuce plants and seed packets. After parking, we were greeted by a Fairyland like appearance ... the place was beautiful! It was easily obvious that someone had worked their tails off to make this place look so nice; I felt like I was at someone's house! There were so many beautiful flowers, arranged by color and styles. We were there for lettuce, and at the back of the property, on tables, we saw six-packs of young lettuce plants, beautifully arranged for sale. We grabbed a six-pack, then went to a small shed like house for our seed packets. Man, this place has everything! My wife, who is the shopper, said that the prices beat the other nursery in Manchester. There were plenty of friendly and helpful staff on hand, although we didn't ask for any assistance. I did tell someone I saw in one of the green houses what an amazing job they did! We will be back at some point to buy other plants for our garden. I just wanted to throw in my two cents on my experience at Shady Hill Nursery and Gardens!

What a wonderland of options for Landscaping and your garden! Fantastic spot for finding your next row of perennials, annuals, or even houseplants. Really enjoyed the selection of everything they had and the prices were absolutely fair for the high quality they bring. Hidden gem for sure!

Yesterday I went out out of my way to go to this greenhouse. The hours online are incorrect!!! Today, in order to avoid wasting my time again, I called in advance. I simply stated the above information and asked about availability for what I was interested in. I was literally told “you’re welcome to stop by, I can’t give you specifics.” I’m beyond shocked, even though I thanked the person on the line, I should not have. They hung up immediately. I hope you realize you just lost a customer, I will not be going out of my way for TERRIBLE customer service, I am so disappointed.😬

It's Christmas time at Shady Hill. The Shady Hill elves will be busy over the next few weeks. There are several varieties of poinsettia to choose from and soon, wreaths and kissing balls will be available. It's definitely worth stopping by.

We bought a house in which a $25k patio was installed with in-paver lights in 2019. I have the receipt that it was installed by Shady Hill Greenhouse Nursery, so I called them for help. Bob came out on September 8 to look and he told me he had to talk to the “light” person and he would get back to me. I have never heard back from him despite multiple calls to Shady Hill. This is horrible customer service!!!! If you can’t fix it, just tell me. Don’t just leave me hanging and my having to call you back multiple times. It is now November 17, and I STILL haven’t heard back. So over 3 months later, I’ll call around to different businesses and I will NEVER buy anything from Shady Hill!!! Oh and by the way, I spent a TON of money there when my daughter was getting married in 2023. Not one more cent will go to them from me!!! Shady is a good name! Update: A few hours after posting this review, Bob called me. He is ordering the lights. Said he thought I didn’t want them because they were too expensive.
