Wonderful place! Plenty of trees to pick from, never too crowded. The produce market is very good. It is the best farm to visit with family less than 1 hour from DC.

Love coming here for apple picking - they have got some great varieties. But to be honest I love the animals here even more. If you come off peak times the donut stand isnt open but you get to spend more time with the goats, donkeys, chicken & co. It's also just a very serene and pretty location and a lot of space for everyone to roam around. They have a huge hay pile for the younger kids to have fun with.

Multiple people mentioned this place as an ideal apple picking experience and they were not wrong. Went with friends and family. Not only were the apples great, there were also fresh veggies grown on the farm! The farm has plenty of activities -animals, hayride, etc., so everyone can spread out and enjoy. We even picked wildflowers. Perfect fall excursion! We will be back! Looking forward to tasting the apple butter. Using the veggies for dinner. A Fantastic Fall Day at Homestead Farm! I recently took my teenage kids to Homestead Farm for some fall fun, and I have to say, it exceeded all our expectations! The pumpkin and apple picking season is in full swing, and this farm offers an incredible experience for visitors of all ages, especially for older kids and teens. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-organized the farm was. The entrance fee was incredibly affordable compared to other farms in the area, which meant we could enjoy our day without breaking the bank. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our visit even more enjoyable. We had a blast exploring the expansive apple orchard and picking the juiciest Fuji apples we could find!🍎🍎 Also, I couldn’t resist buying some stunning mum flowers—$12.99 for a large mum is simply unbeatable. The colors were vibrant and added a lovely touch to our home. The market also offered a fantastic variety of fresh produce, so we stocked up on some goodies to bring home. I highly recommend visiting Homestead Farm. You won’t regret it! 🍏🎃🌼

Great and happy place. We came here to get some apples, but it was a little too early in the season. We ended up buying super fresh eggplant, peppers, corn and young potatoes. Everyone who worked there at the market was extremely friendly and welcoming. We saw a lot of families with kids, that came fruit picking. We also saw a very cute goat walking on the barn roof 🤣. Will come back in a few weeks for apples.
